General Frame Design
Inspired by our work in CDMA signature design, recently we developed a novel alternating projection algorithm for finding finite-dimensional tight frames. Our algorithm that involves alternating between a closed set and a convex set and permits the introduction of different kinds of structure including equiangular structure, constant modulus constraints, or peak-to-average ratio constraints.
